Tear duct operation. If the tear duct is blocked between the eye and the nose.

The anatomically complex nose and eye socket are highly developed, extremely delicate structures. Invisible tear sacs are located next to the eyes into which the excess tears from your eyes drain. In healthy people, excess tear fluid flows through the tear ducts into the nose. This delicate pathway is susceptible to narrowing or obstruction leading to the lacrimal drainage system no longer being able to function in the intended way and the patient suffers from constantly watering eyes.

For these patients, we offer a precision operation performed through the nose to open tear ducts that have become narrowed or blocked. Incisions on the nose or face are not necessary, we work using gentler, less damaging microsurgical and endoscopic methods.
